China plans to buy 50,000 tons of rubber for reserve

(Intimex hanoi) After the reduction of rubber price by strong global economic degradation reducing strong demand, China plans to buy 50,000 tons of rubber to storage reserve country reservation.


 Rubber is under pressure on prices by the economic crisis reducing production car worldwide. Price rubber term in Tokyo has decreased 56% in 2008, the strongest reduction in history.
The consumption of natural rubber of China is highest in the world, but more than half the supply depends on foreign countries.
Two top manufacturers rubber of China, Hainan and Yunnan State Farms State Farms, are still negotiating with the Department of National Reserves about price. These two provinces contributed about 95% of the total output of China rubber. These manufacturers were discussed 2 weeks from now but not yet achieved agreement.
They require price of 18,000 NDT (2,636 USD) per ton, but the agency reserves the country does not accept this price, because it is nearly twice higher than the market price.
Price of rubber in China has decreased nearly 2 / 3 since last summer, compared degradation global economic impacting on wheel industry& # 39;s China - the country tire production car worlds largest. On 8 / 2008, rubber prices in China have reached peak of NDT 28,000 / ton, now only 10,000 NDT, reduction of 66.67%.
The analysts said that the plans to buy reserve rubber in China are not enough to solve the problem because of the rubber price are too low.
