(Intimex Hanoi)Mr Somchai Charnnarongkul, Managing Director of the Agriculture Department under the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand, said that this country has postponed plans to buy 100,000 tons of rubber in the market in order to adjust to increasing this figure to 200,000 tons.

Mr Somchai said that this plan, expect to be submitted to Department of National Society & Economic of Thailand next week to review through, in the framework for the package price, not only for rubber market but also the other goods, such as rice and maize.
The Planning to buy rubber is an initiative of Thailand to support farmers and to pull up the rubber on the export market in the world. In 13th, December, three leading countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed reduced 1 / 6 quantities of rubber exports in 2009, equivalent to 915,000 tons.
